FIVE STARS
I was hooked by Chapter 2. I was so thrown by the events and could not stop reading to find out what happened next. The book is beautifully written with vivid descriptions and enticing chapters. The characters were genuine and relatable and I came to care about each one. The events are wild and unpredictable as we follow Kevin, who seems to be losing his grip on reality. He bounces back and forth between the real world and a dream world, losing time and sanity little by little. The book itself is elegantly formatted with riddles at the beginning of each chapter. The illustrations were phenomenal. Warning, this does end on a cliffhanger but it only has me hungry to find out what happens in the next book.
